New Level of Field Study Method——An Integration of Positivism and Humanism

田野工作作为人类学学科使命的重要方法,彰显了实证主义的知识追求与人文精神的内存诉求之间存在的张力与犹豫。田野工作方法遵循着实证主义原则下的科学精神,其间也蕴含着人文精神的内在需要。人类学的研究应该在实证主义与人文精神的融合中,达至一种"各美其美,美美与共"的新境界。

Field work, as an important method of anthropological study, illustrates the tension and hesitation between the knowledge pursuit of positivism and resort of humanism. Field work method follows the scientific spirit with the principle of positivism, and contains the intrinsic needs of humanism. Anthropological study should reach a new level by integrating positivism and humanism.
