Problems in Teaching English Radio Listening and the Countermeasures

"英语电台"教学往往把听力技能和其他技能的教学人为地割裂开来,缺乏综合技能的训练,教师只注意知识的传授,忽略了能力的培养,只注重课堂教学而忽视课外指导。因此,在"英语电台"教学中,应当从记忆、转换、解释、运用、分析、综合、评估等方面来培养学生的思维判断能力。

In the teaching practice of English radio listening, the teaching of listening skills are often separated from that of other skills, and the training of comprehensive skills is neglected. Teachers only pay attention to knowledge teaching and classroom teaching, ignoring ability cultivation and out-of-class guidance. Therefore, in the teaching of English radio listening, we should cultivate students＇ thinking and judgment ability in memorization, conversion, explanation, application, analysis, comprehension, and evaluation.
