Geological Characteristics and Exploitation of Jiangfushan Red Stoneware Ceramic Shale Deposit

蒋福山紫砂陶瓷页岩矿床是一处构造简单、矿体产状形态清晰、矿石质量稳定、易于开发的非金属矿产地。其矿体由蓟县系洪水庄组页岩组成,经工业部门试验证明,可制造优良建筑材料,在北方广大地区具推广意义。

Located in the northern end of Zhuangguoyu syncline in Hebei Province, the Jiangfushan shale deposit has been considered as an easy-exploited non-metallic deposit with simple structures, clear ore occurrences and good qualities. Its ore body is composed of shales which are located at the second member of Hongshuizhuang Formation, Jixianian System; and the tests by the relevant industrial sectors have proved the shales to be excellent building materials. To promote the development of the clay-type shale deposits in the vast north China is of great significance.
