Resources, Environment and Sustainable Development in Chinese Coast

海岸带是以海岸线为基准，向海陆两侧扩展而具有一定宽度的地带，海岸带处于海陆结合部，具有种类繁多的自然资源，有利于海岸带经济的发展．然而，在海陆交互作用和人类活动作用下，海岸带生态环境脆弱，环境灾害频繁，是海岸带可持续发展的制约因素．充分开发与合理利用海岸带自然资源，治理海岸带环境灾害，实现海岸带的可持续发展，是我国面临的一项重要而现实的任务．

Coast is a zone which stretch along shoreline on both land and sea. Coast lies where sea and land combines, thus many kind of resources converge there and contribute to economic growth. However,coast is influenced by the combined action from land, sea and human being, its environment is so frail that many a kind of disasters take place there.In order to realize the sustainable development of Chinese coast,its resources must be effeciently ultilized and environmental disasters must be prevented.
