浅议提高汉英交替传译质量策略——以2009年国家主席胡锦涛新年讲话的实践研究为例

Approaches to the Improvement of English-Chinese Consecutive Interpreting

通过2009年国家主席胡锦涛新年讲话分析发现受训译员在汉英交替传译过程中的各方面的特征,试图探讨汉英交替传译提高交替传译质量的策略。在实践过程中研究分听辨、笔记、表达诸方面相关因素与口译效率的关系。结果显示,交替传译质量受到听辨能力、记笔记能力和双语转换能力的影响。

Analyzed the features displayed by trained interpreters during English-Chinese consecutive interpreting, we attempt to explore how to improve English-Chinese consecutive interpreting. In this study, the relationship between efficiency of interpreting and relevant factors such as ability to differentiate in listening, note-taking and expressing in the target language We adopt the following as criteria to assess the quality of interpreting, which includes clause recall, key word retrieval, dysfluency markers, speed rate. The results show that the quality of English-Chinese consecutive interpreting is affected by the ability to differentiate in listening, the capacity to take notes and the aptitude for bilingual transference.
