This paper discussed measures of improving quality of chemistry thesis （design） in new undergraduate colleges from timing of thesis （design） topics, funding of thesis （design）, raising the professional standards of the instructor, strengthening organization and management of the thesis and proposed that undergraduate thesis （design） can make full use of foreign aid resources.
