Structure and design points of waste heat boiler in sulphuric acid plants based on off-gases are described. According to high levels of dust and strong adhesive property of dust,strong corrosion and large fluctuations of off-gases,the waste heat boiler is designed by appropriate thermal calculation and structure selection with proper operating parameters and includes a vertical duct with gas flowing cross and along the tubes and high-powered rapping-off-ash system,to ensure the adaptability and security of boiler under harsh operating conditions.
