According to Halliday, interpersonal function which is mainly realized by Mood system is one of the functions of text analysis, By quantitative and qualitative annlysis, the paper studied the Mood system in Olympic songs. The result shows the writers employ more declarative mood to produce information and some imperative mood and interrogative mood to form the interaction. At last, the paper points out the feature of song lyrics confines the choices of language function.
