The article briefly reviews the developing history and resourcessituation of Cutta-Percha. It points out that the birth of Gutta-Percha rubber with high elasticity is a sign that the research-development of Gutta-Percha has entered into a new stage. A new concept has been proposed that the critical crosslinking-degree is a key that Gutte-Percha gets high elasticity. The high elasticity of the macromolecule-network made of the order-flexible chain of Gutta-Percha can not be explained by the contribution of disordercoil chain, it is due to the entirety-disorder of the macromolecule-network of Gutta-Percha. The research-development of Gutta-Percha has entered into a new stage of systemaic project.
