Techniques should be Paid Attention to for New Poetry Writing——A Survey of the Fifth Symposium on the 21st-century Modern Chinese Poetry and "Techniques for Modern Poetry Writing" Seminar

新诗已有百年历史,长期存在内容大于形式、情感大于技法等重"写什么"轻"怎么写"等问题,严重影响了新诗的健康发展。2009年8月,新诗研究界首次以"技法"为主题举办了大型研讨会,提出了多种新诗技法建设的策略及方法。大多数诗论家认为新诗应该进入重视技法的建设时代,技法建设应该是新诗建设的重要内容,目前应该全面进入"和谐诗歌"和"艺术诗歌"的建设时期,处理好个体与群体、自由与法则等矛盾。也有学者反对极端的技法建设,认为既要重视"怎么写"也要关注"写什么"。诗体是诗的技法的重要内容,是诗论家们关注的"焦点",一些学者主张新诗应该是自由诗,一些学者认为新诗应该建设准定型诗体,但是争论的双方都不极端强调新诗诗体的自由化和格律化。

Problems such as the superiority of content to form,emotion to techniques,or ＂what to write＂ to ＂how to write＂ have long impeded the healthy development of new poetry.In August 2009,a large-scale symposium with the topic of ＂technique＂ was held by experts in the field of new poetry to discuss strategies and methods about how to construct new poetry.Most poetic critics thought that it was time for new poetry to pay attention to writing techniques,which should be a major content for the construction of new poetry.Moreover,with the entry into the constructive period of ＂harmonious poetry＂ and ＂artistic poetry＂,contradictions such as those between individuals and the collective,freedom and principles should be solved.On the other hand,some scholars opposed an extreme attitude to the construction of techniques and advocated a balance between ＂what to write＂ and ＂how to write＂.As the main content of poetic techniques,style has drawn much attention.Some advocated free verse while some took the side of quasi-designed verse.But both refused extreme freedom and standardization.
