20世纪80~90年代中国近代史研究＂现代化视角＂的兴起,既是中国近代史学界积极＂以史经世＂回应新时期中国现代化建设的主动举措,也是完善20世纪60年代初形成的马克思主义中国近代史学科体系的内在要求,又是上承20世纪30年代中国近代史研究的＂近代化话语＂,下接新时期海外中国近代史研究现代化思潮输入中国的结果。现代化视角引入中国近代史研究后,中国近代史学界系统探讨近代中国现代化的历史进程,形成了一批有重要影响的成果。现代化视角的引入,在中国近代史学科发展史上,有着重要的现实意义和学术创新价值,推动了新时期中国近代史学科体系的完善,是20世纪中国近代史研究走向繁荣的重要标志之一,为21世纪中国近代史学科的发展奠定了基础。

Modernization angle in the study of modern Chinese history from 1980＇s to 1990＇s is an active measure taken by modern Chinese history field to respond to the modernization of China,an inherent requirement of improving the position of Marxism formed in 1960＇s in modern Chinese history discipline system,and also the result of inheriting the ＂modernization discourse＂ in the study of modern Chinese history in 1930＇s and accepting input of oversea modernization thought about the study of modern Chinese history at contemporary age.After modernization angle being used in the study of modern Chinese history,modern Chinese history field made a systematic research of the historical process of modernization of modern China and resulted in a series of research achievements of significance.Importation of modernization angle is realistically important and valuable in academic innovation in the discipline development of modern Chinese history and improves the modern Chinese history discipline at contemporary age.It is an important mark of the study of modern Chinese history going to prosperity in 20th century and lays a foundation for the development of modern Chinese history discipline in 21the century.
