Compositional Heterogeneity of Segmented Copolymer Molecules

从不同结构层次角度说明了多嵌段共聚物的分子组成不均一性。提出了一种新的看法,即在讨论多嵌段共聚物的形态和性能时,除了链段间的微相分离外,还必须首先考虑不同平均链段长度的多嵌段大分子间的宏观相分离作用。如何表征与控制其组成不均一性是十分重要的课题。

The heterogeneity in molecular composition of segmented copolymers has been evidenced by studies on structures of different scales. It was proposed that in addition to microphase separation between hard and soft segments, the macrophase separation between segmented molecules of different composition or average segment length should be considered first in discussing the morphology and properties of segmented copolymers. The characterization and control of compositional heterogeneity become problems of importance for these polymers.
