摘要
本研究旨在探究英语学习日志写作训练对提高大学非英语专业学习者写作能力的有效性。研究采用对比实验组与控制组的方法,发现英语学习日志写作训练能明显提高学生写作能力,实验组英语写作的流畅性和准确性提高程度均高于对照组。研究同时发现英语学习日志写作训练使实验组学生的自我评价发生了变化,对提高学生的学习自信心和自主学习能力有积极影响,但对英语学习动机和学习愿望影响不大。
This paper aims to explore the effects of English journals on the development of non-English majors' writing skill and self-evaluation. The study involves two groups of students (one contrast group and the other experimental group) and leads to some conclusions by comparing the students' fluency and accuracy in the writing tests at the be- ginning and end of the study. It shows that English journals do have very positive effects on the students' writing skill, and enhance their confidence and learner autonomy; however, they do not have much influence on their motivation.
