After the Second World War,the development concept has gone through a gradual evolution over many decades while the China＇s development theory has also experienced a tortuous process after the founding of the PRC.In the early period after the founding of PRC,the first-generation leaders practiced ＂grasp revolution,promote production＂ and set off the development boom,but we missed the best time to develop because of the closed-door policy.After the Reform and Opening-Up,the second generation leaders started to recognize ＂development is of overriding importance＂,and started the great journey of reform and opening up under the background of international development.In 1990＇s,the third generation of leadership put forward ＂deepening reform,expanding opening up＂ with new ideas under the new situation,and promote China＇s development into line with international norms.In the 21st century,the new generation of leaders put forward the Scientific Concept of Development in order to achieve peaceful development not only well but also quickly,thus China＇s development is more closely interconnected with that of the world.The Scientific Concept of Development is a world outlook and methodology on development issue of the largest developing country in the era of globalization.It summarizes the practical experience of contemporary China＇s development,reflecting the idea of the latest developments in the contemporary world.
