摘要
本文介绍了IP城域网的带内、带外管理方式,并比较了二者的优缺点。提出一个好带外网管系统的标准,由此引出利用PSTN/企业DCN搭建IP城域网带外管理系统的方案。
The aim of the artical was to presented in-band and out-of-band management in metropolitan area network（MAN）, moreover,compare the advantages and disadvantages of both.The author proposed a standard of an outstanding out-of-band management,and how to build out-of-band management in MAN using of public switched telephone network（PSTN）and corporate data communication network（DCN）.
