20世纪30年代的以东西文化冲撞为背景"土洋体育之争",对中国武术产生很大影响。富有传统文化底蕴、内容瑰丽的武术,在体育化改造过程中既有借助现代体育的科学性、规范化,便于普及、推广的一面,同时它在价值观念的对立冲撞中,走上一条充满艰辛且坎坷之路。在体育化过程中,以拳种门派为传承形式的武术被肢解成若干体育项目,在技术上,难以完全符合现代体育的要求;在文化上,又失去了传统武术所体现的中国人的文化精神。通过反思近代武术发展这一重大历史事件,分析其产生的历史文化背景及其对武术的影响,对于指导未来武术发展方向具有重要现实意义。

the culture clash between western and China＇s traditional sports since 1930s has great impact on China＇s martial arts.The martial arts,with rich culture deposit and content,can take the advantage of modern sport to improve itself and become more standardized so as to universalize in public.And the same time,it is still struggling in the clash of values.During the evolution,martial arts have been decomposed into several events.Its techniques can not meet the requirement of the modern science.And it has losses the culture heritage.In reviewing the development of modern sport,the paper analyzes the historical and cultural background of martial arts and its influence on the sport to provide guidance to its development in the future.
