Maxine Hong Kingston and Toni Morris are famous women writers of American minorities in the late 19th century.In the post-colonial context,they explored women＇s awareness and spiritual pursuit from the perspective of ethnic and sexual oppression,opening up the horizon of women literature.Influenced by the post-modernism and memory of their own tradition and culture,they express their strong women awareness and ethnicity by means of women＇s narration of anti-tradition,anti-authority and anti-center.They not only described women＇s misfortune and insult,but also women＇s fight and hope,helplessness and awakening in the impact of white culture.
