牙周炎患者牙周治疗前后口腔挥发性硫化物水平的变化 被引量:2

The level changes of oral volatile sulfur compounds in patients with periodontitis before and after periodontal treatment

摘要 目的探讨牙周治疗(龈上洁治、龈下刮治和根面平整)对牙周炎患者改善口臭及降低挥发性硫化物(VSCs)水平的作用。方法采用鼻闻法评定口臭程度,筛选出全身健康的牙周炎患者40例(男19例,女21例)。便携式气相色谱口臭测量仪(OralChromaTM)测定牙周基础治疗前后牙周炎患者口气中VSCs中3种主要成分气体硫化氢(H2S)、甲基硫醇(CH3SH)和乙基硫化物[(CH3)2S]的水平。40例患者完成牙周基础治疗后重复以上检查。结果牙周基础治疗后患者牙周状况得到改善,口气中VSCs水平显著降低(P<0.01)。其中H2S、CH3SH的含量降幅大于80%,(CH3)2S降幅大于50%。CH3SH/H2S比值在牙周治疗前后的改变没有统计学意义(P>0.05)。H2S在3种气体中的含量最高。结论牙周炎是口臭和口气中VSCs水平主要来源。牙周治疗是减轻牙周炎患者口臭程度和降低口气中VSCs水平的有效方法。 Objective To evaluate the effect of periodontal treatment (scaling and root planning, SRP) on elimination of halitosis and reduction of the level of volatile sulfur compounds (VSCs) for patients with periodontitis. Methods 40 patients (19 males, 21 female cases) with periodontitis were selected according to organoleptic rating (OR). periodontal treatment were performed with a portable sulfide monitor (OralChromaTM, Japan). The levels of three major components of VSCs [H2S, CH3SH, and (CH3)2S] were measured before and after periodontal treatment. Results The periodontal treatment significantly reduced the level of VSCs (P 〈 0.01). The levels of H2S and CH3SH were downregulated by over 80% and 50% respectively. The ratio of CH3SH/H2S before and after periodontal treatment was not statistically significant (P 〉 0.05). Conclusions It is indicated that periodontitis is the major source of halitosis and VSCs. Periodontal treatment can significantly reduce oral halitosis and VSCs.
