目的英国纽卡斯尔港市85岁以上老人队列研究目的是：对非选择性的85岁老人的临床、生理、社会心理特性进行系统研究，追踪老人入选以后的健康状况；报道他们的基本健康状况。

Objective The Newcastle 85 ＋ Study aims to systematically study the clinical, biological, and psycbosocial attributes of an unselected cohort of 85 year olds and to examine subsequent health trajectories as the cohort ages; health at baseline is reported.
