On Vocabulary Variation of Network Language from the Angle of Memetics Theory

网络语言是信息时代的产物,是一种语言变体,最能体现这一语言变体特色的是其词汇变异。模因论是基于达尔文进化论的观点解释文化规律的理论,它为研究网络语言成功复制和传播提供了崭新的理论视角。文章从模因论的角度阐述网络语言词汇变异的表现,进而从求简求快心理、叛逆创新心理和从众时尚等方面探讨它们得以复制和传播的社会心理因素。

Network language is the product of the information age and it is a variation of language.The specialties of network language are best embodied by the variations of its vocabulary.Memetics is a theory aiming to explicate the evolutionary mechanisms of culture from the cultural elements in the evolution of languages.This theory also gives a new angle for studying the successful copy and transmission of network language.The types of vocabulary variation in network language are explained from the angle of Memetics.And the psychological motivations are discussed from the mental of fast-pace pursuing,rebellion and fashion pursuing for copying and transmitting the meme of vocabulary variation in network language.
