This article discusses how to perfect the natural and humane environment in order to optimize the images of a university branch library in the process of building and renovating libraries.From a reader＇s perspective,the paper uses the branch library of a school of foreign languages in a university as an example.After discussing the perspectives of the reader in the process of a full library tour,the paper describes the image design of this branch library and points out that branch library design should be based on the circumstances of the library itself.The design of the two kinds of environments should be adapted to the circumstances and should create a safe,effective,comfortable,convenient,and quiet library for readers.
