This paper introduces a new kind of cyclone preheater research platform system.It originates from the actual system of cement rotary kiln,and many improvements have been made to meet the requirement of research and teaching.This system consists of cyclone pre-heater tube equipment,singlechip controlled system,actuators and information management system in desktop computer.Each part of the hardware and software especially the feature and technical is described in detail.It is a very suitable platform for comprehensive experiment and study in the field of automation,as the platform involves complex object and scientific knowledge.The practice proves it has good effect than general teaching platform.
