摘要
本文从分形理论角度对布-齐-洛分布作了全新的解释。应用分形与分维的概念建立了布-齐-洛分布的分形模型,阐明了其实质——统计自相似分形;揭示了公式中幂指数的深刻含义——“分维”。根据这一模型,讨论了情报学三个经验定律的统一性和该分布的普遍性及其产生机制。
From the viewpoint of the fractal theory, this paper provides a fractal model and new explanation for Bradford-Zipf-Lotka distribution. We have clarified the nature of the Bradford-Zipf-Lotka distribution——statistical self-similarity, and revealed the profound meaning of power index in the formula—fractal dimension. According to this model, we have also discussed the unifity of three empirical laws in the bibliometrics and the universality and mechanism of the Bradford-Zipf-Lotka distribution.
