Ontology evaluation tools can detect the problems and errors in the phase of programming, constructing, applying and maintaining the ontology. The paper analyzes the system architecture of ODEval, OntoQA, Core and OntoManager, and then compares these ontology evaluation tools from the five aspects of the evaluation methods they use, the evaluation mechanisms, the users, the functional scope, the operability and the validity. All these can define the respective focus and the difference so as to help the ontology developers and end users to choose the suitable ontology evaluation tools which is widely used at the international level and promising.
