摘要
历代对《大学》之"诚""明"的解释,在思想史上有重要意义。而这些解释构成的阐释链虽有历时的变形,但将之与《中庸》作横向的比较,又可以发现其相对的一致性。《大学》文本的文献学问题,实际上可以归之于思想史的问题。而思想史的问题,往往与儒学的时代背景与命运紧密相关。《大学》的"诚""明"比较鲜明地体现了心性儒学的特点。无论内圣是否能开出新外王,儒学的现代命运都值得当代人认真思考。
The interpretations of "honesty" and "brightness", key words of The Great Learning, figure up prominently in the intellectual history in generations. Even though the interpretative chain undergoes diachronic changes, compared laterally with The Doctrine of Mean, it can still keep relative accordance. The philological problem of the text definitely shall belong to the intellectual history which is often tied firmly with the setting and destiny of Confucianism. "Honesty" and "brightness" of The Great Learning show vividly the characteristics of humane Confucianism. Whether inner goodness can develop outer achievement or not, the fate of the contemporary Confucianism deserves our earnest consideration.
