加强和谐图书馆的建设是构建和谐社会的一个重要组成部分,是顺应时代发展和传承人类文化的需求。"以人为本"是构建和谐图书馆的重要指导思想,构建和谐的图书馆重点包括建立和谐的硬环境与软环境两大方面:和谐的硬环境是指为读者创建一个充满人文关怀的物理环境,包括馆舍的建筑及内部设施等;和谐的软环境是指良好、温馨的人文环境,包括图书馆领导之间、领导与员工之间,员工与员工之间以及员工与读者之间的人际关系等,二者缺一不可。

Strengthening the construction of harmonious libraries is an important component of constructing a harmonious society,and it is the need to conform to the trend of the times and the heritage of human cultures.＂Putting people first＂ is an important guiding principle to construct harmonious libraries,and the emphasis includes the two aspects of hard environment and soft environment： a harmonious hard environment refers to the establishment of a physical environment full of human care,which includes the building architecture and inner facilities;a harmonious soft environment refers to a cultural environment which is fine,warm and fragrant,including the relationship between leaders,leaders and librarians,librarian,and librarians and readers.Neither of the two can be dispensed.
