Study on the Major Settings of the Applied Undergraduate Education

社会需求、教育规律和办学积淀是应用型本科专业设置及其结构优化的主要考虑因素。应用型本科教育专业设置应走以社会需求为导向,以区域特色资源与优势产业为依托,以优势、特色学科专业为支撑,以应用型长线学科专业为核心,以短线学科专业为外延,构建学科专业群的道路。

This paper holds that social demand, law of education and experiences of running a college are the primary factors to be considered on the major settings of the applied undergraduate education and its structural optimization. Based on the social demand orientation, the regional characteristic resources and the advantages of industries, the paper points out that the major settings of the applied undergraduate education need to run the way of the constructing specialty group of discipline, which include the following parts making use of the locally - characterized discipline specialties as major points, building the applied and long-term discipline specialties as connotation and employing the short-term discipline specialties as denotation.
