The Internal Structure of Chinese Architectural Culture

对传统建筑文化的系统性与层次性进行了分析和阐述,认为中国建筑文化由外而内可分为三个层次:首先是建筑的外在形式(建筑词汇),其次是建筑及规划的法式、原则(语法),最后是古代中国人所特有的思维方式(深层结构)。提出了中国建筑文化正是由上述三个层次所构成的完整体系。

This article analyzes the system of the Chinese architectural culture as well as its layers. It is thought that the Chinese architectural culture consists of three layers ： the outer form of the architecture （the architectural vocabulary）, the principles of the architecture and its design （the architectural grammar） and the unique thought style of the ancient Chinese （the deep structure）. The Chinese architectural culture is a complete system with the three layers mentioned above.
