Renewal of Building Group Space on College Traditional Campus

通过对传统校区建筑群体空间特色的回顾,以剑桥大学西区的更新规划设计为例,结合建筑群体设计理论,总结出轴线对位法和旋转轴线法、簇群式组合、院落式组合、重复传统母题的组合四种传统校区建筑群体空间更新的常用模式。

This article firstly review the characteristic building group space in traditional campus,then takes the renewal plan of west section in Cambridge University for example with the design theory of building group. Then the article summarizes four common guidelines as the patterns on renewal of building group space of college traditional campus, such as the methods of axial alignment and rotation axis counterpoint, cluster of the combination, combination of central courtyard and repeating the combination of the traditional motif.
