拟南芥花粉表面蛋白基因T-DNA插入突变体的鉴定

Identification of T-DNA lines for analyzing pollen coat proteins in Arabidopsis thaliana

摘要 花粉表面蛋白质(Pollen coat proteins,PCPs)是一类在被子植物进行繁殖生长过程中起着重要作用的蛋白质.它们参与了花粉与柱头的识别、黏附、水合等过程,直接影响花粉的萌发能力.根据已经建立的拟南芥花粉表面蛋白数据库中的信息,从美国拟南芥生物资源中心购买了有T-DNA插入的SALK株系种子,并对这些株系进行了T-DNA插入位点的鉴定,实验结果为进一步研究花粉表面蛋白质奠定了基础. Pollen coat proteins (PCPs) are important proteins involved in Angiosperm reproductive development. These proteins are involved in the processes of recognition, adhesion, and hydration between pollen and stigma, and directly related with pollen germination. In our work, based on the database of Arahidopsis pollen coat proteins we have established,we ordered seeds of T - DNA tagged Arabidopsis thaliana SALK lines from Arabidopsis Biological Resource Center, USA, and identified the T - DNA insertion sites in theses lines. These results will set bases for the further study of pollen coat proteins.
