As a representative of In-yer-face Theatre in the 1990s, Sarah Kane has received wide attention both at home and abroad in recent years. Her last play 4.48 Psychosis has long been considered her suicide note. This paper applies trauma theory to analyze Kane's 4. 48 Psychosis trying to disclose her love for life and her desire to heal her wounded self and the world.
