In the age of scientific reason and methodology consciousness, philosophical hermeneutics insists on the Verlassenheit of methodological rationality. It objects to Habennas＇ requirement, ie, Hermeneutics must serve the methodology of social sciences. Gadamer insists that hermeneutics transcend over all alienation from method and that the being which can be understand is language.
