早熟板栗新品种——云夏的选育

Selection of a new Chinese chestnut cultivar Yunxia

云夏是实生选种培育的早熟板栗新品种。该品种早熟、早实、丰产稳产,坚果色泽美观,含糖量高,品质优良。云夏总苞平均质量80.9g,坚果平均质量16.5g,出子率41.24%,坚果含糖量21.78%,含淀粉48.41%,淀粉糊化温度52℃。且抗病虫能力强,适宜亚热带干热河谷地区栽培。

A new early maturing Chinese chestnut variety Yunxia was bred from seedling selection. It is early maturing and early beraing with high and stable yield, high content of sugar and good quality. Nuts are polished and beautiful, averagely weighing 16.5 g with sugar content of 21.78% and starch content of 48.41%. The cuhivar, has strong disease and insect resistance and good adaptability to dry-hot valley areas. Its kernel rate reaches 41.24%. Temperature for starch pasting is 52℃. Cultivating measures were pointed out according to its biology characteristics.
