A materialized view-based adaptive query optimization system framework

提出一种基于实视图的自适应查询优化系统SAQOS,能根据用户查询模式、查询特征以及各种约束条件自适应地选择实视图,并利用实视图进行查询重写得到最优的重写查询,从而提高查询性能.该系统将视图选择与重写机制有机地结合在一起,既考虑了两者的交互性,又考虑了独立性.其框架具有很强的灵活性和可扩充性.

This paper presents a adaptive query optimization system（AQOS） based on materialized view,according to a user query pattern,query characteristics,as well as the some constraints choosing the set of materialized views adaptively;and using set of materialized views to query rewrite so to improve query performance.The system takes the selection of views and rewriting together,considering the interaction between the two,but also taking into account the independence.The framework has a strong flexibility and scalability.
