Nowadays＇ society, where science and technology develops highly, libraries which take the information resource as the central tradition serving pattern meets a huge challenge. This text has introduced the meaning and characteristic of library universal service and the characteristic and function of cloud computing. It analyzed the influence that the cloud computing has brought to libraries, and from many aspects has discussed the strong technical support which cloud computing has offered for the libraries to realize universal service.
