甘薯的引种传播及其影响研究——以建国前山东为例

Research on the Introduction and Spread of Sweet Potato and its Influences——Taking pre-1949 Shandong as An Example

考证了甘薯传入中国的时间及路线,根据甘薯耐旱、耐瘠薄以及高产稳产的生物学特性,分析了甘薯传播、推广的客观原因和主观原因,并探讨了甘薯引种传播对农业生产带来的重要影响。作者认为甘薯的广泛传播是清代民国时期人口快速增加的重要原因之一。

This paper carried out textual research of the time and route for the introduction of sweet potato in China. Based on the biological characteristic of sweet potato such as drought resistance, sterility resistance and high and stable yield, the objective and subjective reasons for the spread and popularization of sweet potato were analyzed. The great influences of the introduction and spread of sweet potato on agricultural production was also discussed. The extensive spread of sweet potato was one of the major factors for the rapid increase in population during Qing Dynasty and Republic of China.
