As one of Ligeti maturity stage of works, the music style of String Quartet No. 2 was individual and vivid. The sound color of the piece was gorgeous and fickle, which was an important element to building up the structural basis of the whole work, giving the piece drive, acting as ‘pushes＇ to the music development. From the viewpoint of sounding features of the work, the article explored the compositional technique that to obtained the novel and unique acoustic effects.
