In order to increase the feasibility of investment of expressway reconstruction project, to increase the accuracy of project investment estimate and to maximize the investment benefit, the properties and characteristics of expressway reconstruction project were analyzed, the connotation of investment benefit of expressway reconstruction project was explained, the content and calculation method of investment benefit of expressway reconstruction project were proposed. Finally, the benefit and cost statement of expressway reconstruction project was drawn up, the internal benefit rate net present value and other indicators of expressway reconstruction project were calculated, and the indicators ＇ scores were compared with the criteria to obtain the analysis result for expressway reconstruction project, which could be a reference to the investment decision-making and an objective evidence for the profitability analysis of expressway reconstruction project.
