土家族传统服饰及其文化象征——以沿河土家族自治县及周边地区为例

On the Tujia Ethnic Traditional Costume and Its Cultural Symbols——A Case Sudy of Yanhe Tujia Autonomous County and Its Surrounding Areas

服饰是一个民族的重要文化标象,是民族无声语言的艺术传承,是一个民族区别于其他民族的标志之一。在历史发展长河中,土家族为表达民族的共同信仰与文化因素,创造了集绘画、扎染、刺绣、挑花、纺织等民族手工艺术为一体的、具有鲜明民族特色与民族文化特征的土家族服饰。通过土家族服饰的演变、内涵与文化象征三方面来研究土家族服饰,以期传承与开发土家族的服饰文化。

Costume represents the key cultural symbol and silent speech arts inheritance of an ethnic group as well as one of the significant signs to distinguish it from other ethnic groups. During the long history develop- ment process, the Tujia ethnic group develops its costume with peculiar ethnic and cultural features, which in- tegrates paintings, dyeing technology, embroidery, stitching, spinning and so on. The article attempts to probe in- to the Tujia ethnic traditional costume in the perspectives of its evolution, intension and cultural symbols in the hope of developing and inheriting it.
