Four (kou、lv、pin、qi) Font Styles of Figure Plate Construction in Ancient Chinese Full-length Novels

本文颇有创新性地提出了新概念、新观点,即中国古代长篇白话小说人物板块结构有四种常见的表现形式:口字型、吕字型、品字型、器字型,并通过举例论述了《红楼梦》、《封神演义》、《三国演义》、《儒林外史》是这四种类型的代表作。

This article first puts forward four new concepts about ＂plate construction＂ of figure in Chinese ancient full-length novels,which are ＂kou＂（口）font style、＂lv＂（吕） font style、＂pin＂（品）font style and ＂qi＂（器） font style.Accordingly the ＂plate construction＂ of figure in The Dream in Red Mansions,Apotheosizing Tales,The Romance of the Three Kingdoms and Unofficial History of the Literati respectively represents one font style.
