也谈荀子语言理论的体认辩证观

On the Embodied-Cognitive and Dialectic Language View of Xun Zi

战国时期的思想家荀子曾在其著作《正名篇》中就"名"与"实"的关系问题作过系统、科学的论述。王寅教授曾撰文指出,国内关于荀子的语言学思想一直以来都存在着很大的认识偏见,并提出了荀子语言理论的认知观的看法。我们认为荀子有关"名"的起源和"名"与"实"关系的论述与现代认知语言学的相应观点不谋而合,甚至可以说早在几千年以前,荀子就已经论述了语言的认知体验观。本文从"名"的起源、制定、发展,以及"名"与逻辑思维的关系等方面阐述了荀子语言理论的体认辩证观。

Xunzi,great thinker during the period warring states,had a systematic exposition about the relationship between ＂name＂ and ＂existence＂ in his work Zhengming（Name Ratification）.Professor Wang Yin once pointed out in his paper that there are prejudices among scholars against Xunzi’s linguistic theory,and he proposed the cognitive view of Xunzi’ linguistic theory.We hold that Xunzi’s exposition about the origin of ＂name＂ and the relationship between ＂name＂ and ＂existence＂ conforms to modern cognitive linguistic theory.It can be said that Xunzi touched the embodied-cognitive theory thousands of years ago.The writer of this article discusses Xunzi’s embodied-cognitive and dialectic view from the origin,establishment and development of ＂name＂,as well as from the relationship between ＂name＂ and logic thinking.
