翻译在改变语言外壳、保持源语思想内容时,为了既忠实于源语,也为了使译文顺畅而不会造成交流方面的障碍、损失或干扰,要不断地对源语和译入语从词汇、语法、文体及文化特色等方面进行分析比较,方可能做到译语在形式和内容上与源语最大限度的对等。《毛泽东选集》与毛泽东诗词中之战斗性语言不仅措辞严谨、条理分明,而且具有鲜明的词汇、语法、文体及文化特色。因此,很值得深入地对比该语言及其英译在这些特色上的异同点,以期在后继研究中对其中所采取的翻译技巧与翻译策略中出现的问题进行探讨。

The militant language in the Selected Works ofMao Tse-tung and Mao Tsetung Poems not only has exact wording and clear presentation, but also possesses distinguished lexical, grammatical, stylistic and cultural features. Hence, it is well worth probing into the similarities and dissimilarities between the militant language and its English rendition, which may pave a way for fur- ther researches into the problems arising out of the techniques and strategies employed in translating this language.
