This article mainly researches into the development history of the concept ＂infinity＂, especially the ＂infinity＂ in mathematics, including some personal views towards the origin of the mathematical ＂ infinity＂. Besides, this article analyses the views about ＂ infinity＂ in the philosophical thoughts of some important philosophers of the ancient Greece so as to see the great progress in understanding of and research on the problem of ＂infinity＂.
