This article adopts the SWOT model in analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of postgrad- uate education majors doing college counseling work, giving special attention to strategy analysis of strength and opportunity. It suggests postgraduate education majors should promote their professional development through setting up correct views, improving their personal qualities and participating in practical activities.
