论白先勇小说的创作特色

The Creative Features in Pai Hsien-yung's Novel

白先勇是20世纪60年代台湾极具代表性的现代派作家,也是大陆读者比较熟悉、评论界比较关注的台湾作家之一。其作品不仅具有现代派作家共有的特点,更有自身的特色。总体而言,白先勇小说有三个创作特色:"中西合璧,悲剧色彩,感伤主义"。具体来说:(1)白先勇的个人经历对其小说创作有很大影响,使其在继承传统技法的基础上融传统于现代;(2)在小说的情节和人物的悲剧性方面有着浓郁的悲剧色彩;(3)在历史流变下的"对命运的感悟和思索"以及异域文化下的生存和放逐的视角下,白先勇小说富有感伤主义色彩。

Bai Xianyong was a highly representative Tailand author of the 16th.century as well as popular to criticizers and those from the mainland .His works are similiar to those modern writers in character but do have unique features in some way. This paper emphasizes the analysis and regularization of Bai Xianyong＇s creative trait.First,it summerizes comprehensively his creations,thus concludes three features ＂English-Chinese combination＂ , ＂tragic element＂ , ＂sentimentality＂ . Second, in hght of his effection of experience to creation, his works which jumbled together ancient and modem were based on traditional skills .Third,it disscusses the tragic element according to the chareacters contents of his works.Finally explain the sentimental dolor of his works by means of expounding the ＂thoughts and realization to life＂ after historical movement,as well as existance and banishment under foreign culture.
