摘要
习语是语言词汇的重要组成部分,其产生主要是由于历史、地理、宗教信仰、生活习俗等方面的差异造成的。因为承载着不同的文化信息,翻译时可采取直译、意译、直译兼意译、代换法等方法。
The idiomatic phrases, an important part of vocabulary, is the fixed phrases or short sentences derived from daily life. It often has a strong cultural characteristics. Due to historical, geographical, religious beliefs, customs and other differences, Chinese and English idioms also carry information on different cultures. In this paper, issues will be discussed on how does this come into existence and how to translate the idiomatic phrases accuratdy.
