Strategy and implementation of comprehensive software testing based on VSTS management

为了提高软件测试的工作效率和质量,提出了一种新的全程软件测试与管理结合的策略.利用VSTS平台将软件的测试与管理结合在一起,使软件测试贯穿于整个软件生命周期中,特别是软件开发初期,减小测试滞后带来的隐患.在实际(IM)项目中的实践表明:这种测试与管理结合的策略效率比传统测试效率提高了16%,且易于实现;对于工作量及成本的控制,也使系统的造价更低,有推广价值.

To improve software quality and work efficiency in software testing,a new method that integrates the comprehensive software testing and management was presented.Combining testing and management by VSTS platform makes software testing run through the whole software life cycle,especially in the early software development,and decreases bugs caused by testing lagging behind.An actual experiment was made to verify its efficiency in Item Maintain Project.The results showed that using this strategy the efficiency increases 16%than that of traditional testing.It also reduces the workload and cost in software testing.
