无线网络视频传输的自适应速率控制算法

An adaptive rate control algorithm for video traffic in the wireless network

摘要 针对目前实时视频在无线网络上传输存在的问题,提出了一种适合于无线网络环境下视频传输的自适应速率控制方法.通过在数据链路层和应用层分别使用不同的速率控制方法,实现了视频在无线网络环境下传输质量的提升.使用NS2网络仿真软件对所提出的自适应速率控制方法进行了仿真实验,结果表明:使用该方法能够有效提升视频传输的质量. In order to solve the problems of the real-time video streaming transmission over wireless network, a new adaptive rate transmission control method was proposed.In this method different rate control methods are used at data link layer and application layer respectively and this method can improve the quality of video transmission.The NS2 software is used to simulate the performance in the wireless network. Simulation results demonstrated that the proposed method can improve the quality of video transmission in the wireless network.
