摘要
“语言水平”是语言能力投射在不同语言习得阶段的镜像,但该术语的内涵和外延在语言测试和语言习得研究这两个领域中并不相同,在语言研究中,“语言水平”这一变量的数据不能用标准测试成绩来代替。文献计量统计显示:国内相应领域的研究在测量和界定“语言水平”时存在概念混淆、工具与研究问题脱节、方式单一等不足之处。
Language proficiency is what language competence reflects on the different stages of language acquisition, but this term differs a lot in either denotation or connotation between the two fields of language testing and SLA studies. In language studies, the data of this variable of language proficiency could not be replaeed by the scores of standardized proficiency tests. The bibliometric statistics show that, in the studies in the relevant field at home, there are some problems in measuring and defining subjects' language proficiency, such as the conceptual eonfusion, the mismatches between research questions and measurements, and the over-simplification of measurements and etc.
