论“道之所存,师之所存也”

摘要 韩愈的《师说》对我国的教育有着深远的影响。"师者,所以传道、授业、解惑也"是对教师角色的传统定位,然而,韩愈在《师说》中所说的"道"并非指的是一种具体而微的"专业知识",而是指对孔孟学说及其伦理精神的热爱、认同、实践和无止境的追求。所说的"传道"并非指的是现代教学论意义上的"传递知识",而是指传承一种自尧舜以来生生不息的实践儒家之道(即仁义)的精神、意志和旨趣。所说的"道之所存,师之所存也",并非是指"知识所在的地方,就是教师所在的地方",而是指"凡是具有这种精神的人都是值得学习的教师",反之就不是真正值得学习的教师。 The masterpiece essay Shishuo (On Teaching) written by Hanyu of Tang Dynasty has profound influence on our country' s education. The essence part of Shishu. "Teacher is the one who imparts knowledge, passes on skills and solves doubts" is a very early definition and orientation for teacher. "Dao" from Shi- Shuo not refers to concrete knowledge but the passion, identification with, practice and pursuit for the Confucian ethical spirit. Imparting the Tao is not passing on the knowledge from the modern teaching concept. It refers to inheriting, passing on the Confucianism Spirit centered by RenYI (Humanity, Justice and Benevolence), deter- mination, purport carried down since early emperors Yao and Shun. The real meaning of the wording in Shishuo, "wherever is knowledge, there is teaching" is that all those who possess these spirits whoever is our respected teacher we should follow.
